Jigme, the youngest of the King's sons, was
permitted to follow his calling and enter the monastery. There he
advanced so quickly in his studies, that the title of Lama was conferred
on him at a young age. His dearest hope is that he would be able
to follow the Buddha into enlightenment and step from the pain of
existence into nirvana.
