In Order of Appearance: The Women The Men |
Garcenda is a maid servant to the Lady
Elisabeth du Chauvigny, and none too thrilled. Her mistress is
spoilt, petty and demanding. However, Garcenda loves her mistress
dearly. She doesn't mind having to clean the ever present ink
blotches from her mistresses' cheek, as Lady Elisabeth is constantly
tapping her quill there, nor does she mind running errands for her, even
if the errands force her to take messages to various men. Her Lady
is gentle and will hold her close in their shared bed. Garcenda
dreams that one day her lady will kiss her and forget about the men.
